Cecal volvulus is a uncommon condition in which there is torsion or twisting of distal ileum, cecum, and ascending colon sufficient to result in partial or complete obstruction to the lumen, which in turn may be followed by varying degrees of circulatory impairment to the wall. Early. diagnosis is essential to the success of its surgical treatment. we present a- -case of cecal volvulus, 21 years old male, with the review -of the literature.
